Description

This model is scarce and no longer made, the guitar is made with very hard to get tonewoods. I am the first Owner only selling because I have many guitars and the music I make is not suitable for a sweet guitar sound which the TNV 360SC has. Here is a description from way back.. "The guitars created in Takamine Specialty Shop are very limited production models showing design elements that appear nowhere else in the Takamine line. The TNV360SC dreadnought features a solid, hand-selected "bear claw" spruce top which creates a rare, naturally occurring pattern. Each soundboard is individually voiced to maximize its power and dynamic range. The back and sides are solid book matched Indian Rosewood, chosen for both its appearance and acoustic integrity. The ebony fingerboard is fitted with nickel silver frets, leveled and finished by hand for perfect playability and intonation. The soundhole and perimeter of the top are inlaid with hundreds of pieces of beautiful abalone shell. Includes Takamine’s Palathetic™ pickup, known in the industry as one of the most accurate and natural sounding acoustic/electric pickups. The electronic performance package is beyond state of the art with the Cool Tube® Preamp – the first and only tube preamp in an acoustic guitar."

This Guitar was purchased brand new by me and has a playing time of less than an hour there are no real marks on it that I can see. The case has a few little nicks and some paint rub from shelf. The guitar has been stored with others in a shelf in my studio which has lower humidity.

Any questions I will answer. Steve

Hi there, how long ago was this purchased - in other words how old is the guitar? (Just a little confused as the case seems well used!) Thank you.stafford72(131)04:14 pm, Sat, 10 Aug

The case... No not really well used.. when I got I when I purchased the guitar it was pretty much like it then. I just did not clean it well when I took the photograph, inside it is great there is a couple of niggles on the body just nicks really. Apart from that it is super. Some idiot had put a sticker on it when I purchased it to and had ripped it off leaving white under paper. This was purchased in 2009 and put on a shelf with other guitars. the case has a sticker with numbers of the guitargoldross(38)• Saturday, 10 August 2019

I will clean the outside of the case better and photograph the outside of the case and the inside of the case tomorrow. SteveSeller comment Saturday, 10 August 2019

Hi again, many thanks for your explanation which is totally fine. - I certainly didn't intend you go to any trouble around 'sprucing up' the case any further...was just doing my 'due diligence' and taking all things into consideration! Guitar looks stunning and very tempting so will keep on my watchlist. Cheers :)stafford72(131)09:28 pm, Sat, 10 Aug

No worries here I know the feeling, I will post a couple of pics anyway, sometimes a person needs a reminder and that would be me. I may secretly not want to sell,,, I like guitars! Good on you for waking me up.. Stevegoldross(38)• Saturday, 10 August 2019

I called the scratches on the case nicks they would be better called little scuffs. I am guessing the store I brought from had this case lying on it's back. As you will see the inside is pristine. The light yellow paint streak is from my shelf! The latches are all pristine. Thanks to Stafford I was pleased to take more photographs. The case has done it's job though one good thought.. SteveSeller comment Sunday, 11 August 2019
