Castle Howard Series 3’s in perfect condition. Never been in the sun. No nicks or scratches. These were the top of castle’s Classic range. For dimensions and specifications see photo. They have a top firing woofer/midrange, which gives a open field of sound. Wooden cabinets are furniture quality, which is a signature feature of castle speakers. I purchased these new in August 2014. They were a $4k speaker- see photo. They can be bi-wired and bi-amped.
Good bass response down to 35hz.

The series 3 is under IAG is it I can see on the back so these are the China made ones thanks thunderboy(291• 09:51 am, Sun, 7 Jul ) I am not sure if you are asking a question or not. I included a photo referring to castle (like many other iconic English speaker brands) being owned by IAG group. If quality is your concern, don’t be concerned, as IAG do a better job than the English workers ever did. For example, the English assembled speakers used faulty glue on the “spiders” on the woofers/mid range, when caused them to eventually fall apart. I had some older Castle Harlechs, and they had to be repaired for this fault. paulg6(148• Sunday, 7 July 2019 ) Hi,do you think your castles would make good front speakers in my 5.1 surround? Cheers I already have castles so yours would be a upgrade lovechocolate1(138• 11:10 am, Mon, 8 Jul ) Yes, as that is what I used mine for, plus I have smaller Castles for surround at the front. I have bought some very expensive replacements, but I still think the Castles are superb. paulg6(148• Monday, 8 July 2019 )
