Hey! Thanks for checking out my listing.
My name is Dan Harris. I am the owner of Dansco Auto which specializes in the dismantling and sale of parts for Japanese vehicles and as a byproduct of this we are left with large amounts of "junk" metal and parts.
In 2018 I started #ARTISJUNK as a way of taking the junk we collect and turning it into something useful by recycling it into works of functional art.
This lamp is my latest creation "The Anglerfish"
The body of the fish is made using all scrap / recycled parts (spark plugs, valve springs, tools, brake pads etc), fins / tail from forks and the teeth made of valve stems.
Inspired by the Anglerfish which uses a luminescent esca over its head to lure prey, it is topped off with a flexible light coming out of the head. The bulb is a 4.5W LED filament style bulb which is dimmable using the inline switch.
Size: W 270mm x H 280mm x L 510mm
This would be a great addition to any mancave, shop, cafe, pub, office, shop etc.
Truly a one of a kind piece!
Any questions just ask.

Hi Dan. Lovely creation. Can I suggest that you add the work "steampunk" to your description as I think this might also appeal to steampunk aficianados, and you might get more views as a result of searches for that subject. Good luck, Denise denise56(1701• 07:26 am, Thu, 11 Jul ) Thanks for checking out the listing and thanks for the tip! :) dansco.trading(410• Thursday, 11 July 2019 ) This is really cool. You are to be congratulated. The issue I see is that it’s a electrical hazard. A peace of art like this becomes an appliance with the electrics and it’s not safe. Your artwork needs a earth and you need to get it sorted by a electrician. canty(1487• 07:48 am, Fri, 12 Jul ) Thank you for your query. It is wired with an earth and has been inspected and certified by a registered electrician so is 100% safe. dansco.trading(410• Friday, 12 July 2019 ) Hi Dan, just came across this and thought this was very impressive and a cool concept! I thought I'd pop on here and say you could have a really good chance of winning a big helping of prize money with one of your creations at the Kimbolton Sculpture Festival in April next year (https://www.ruralart.nz). You can sell your artwork there and get your name out for more potential buyers. I am just a fellow sculptor, but I entered it last year and I feel your talent would be really appreciated!! :) slowphie(10• 09:45 am, Fri, 12 Jul ) Thanks for info, Will look into it :) dansco.trading(410• Friday, 12 July 2019 )
